Insignificant
The sun is a star.
Stars explode somehow.
What will Earth be when the sun blows?
*Poof
We're gone.
I don't really know how but maybe there'll be shockwaves which will cause tsunamis and earth quakes?
Or there's simply be no light and no heat.
Imagine that.
One day you're cooking at home when the lights flicker on and off before they die out.
You're plunged into darkness even though it was a scorching afternoon.
Running to the window, you see nothing. Not even the moon because there's no light to reflect.
You fumble in the dark before finding your torch light.
You wander out of your house, dazed and flabbergasted.
What's happening? You think.
When you reach the void deck you see your neighbours all around you.
Some crying and some staring at you with pale faces.
Someone screams its the end of the world! And you wonder if its true.
All around the world people sit in the dark, wanting to know more but can't because major earth quakes has destroyed all communications.
Man I don't know how to continue.
Its like... What are we compared to the Sun?
The Universe and all those galaxies out there?
I'm nothing dudes.
Nothing compared to whats out there.
So I guess I've decided to look at things from another way.
Everything's material.
I'll only treasure things that are real.
Like kinship, friendship and such.
Oh well.
So as for the Protege in my story, I'll try to hate him less.
lol.
