Haha. Though I don't believe we managed to really surprise him, I think we tricked him about the BBQ part.

Rushed down to Pasir Ris after the draggy sports carnival with ama and seq's secret recipe cake.

Well.. regarding the class outing.
No gathering is complete without Sheri and Izaac
So it was cancelled.

BAH!

Spent my new year's day in Mount Faber instead.
Missed the fireworks while trying to get ourselves out of the jam
Sheesh.
Let me see.
Dec 31.
Had thanksgiving church service at Queensway.
Wanted to stop by at Vivo but no parking space.
Passed by Nicoll Highway. Wao. So many people along the highway, yoh.
Then decided to go East Coast Beach.
No Space again.
Thought we'd have better luck at the other end of ECB
But HECK! Drove along the road leading back to Nicoll Highway.
So went all the way to Mount Faber.
Hang around drinking Jasmine Green Tea( yoh, u guys should seriously get addicted to Green Tea.) and munching on Lays potato chips.

And so we were sitting over there overlooking the CBD skyline and listening to the Vivo City countdown party noise.
I got a secret to share, yoh.

Here it is.
Mount Faber is the best place to see fireworks.
And no wonder couples like to make out there, it's not very well lit.

Hurr hurr.
My friend shared this story regarding his NS days lah. He was under the police department or something like that.
My friend's friend was in the police station when a couple went in to report a robbery that happened to them in Mount Faber.
Apparently, there was a thief who opened their car and grabbed the valuables eg handbag.
My friend's friend(okay let's abbrevate this to MF'sF) was curious as to why they didn't chase after the robber.
So he asked them, "Why never chase him?"
The woman walked out of the station while the man sheepishly replied, "Very hard lah"
MF'sF: "Why very hard?"
Man who was robber: "Eh... We were naked"

So anyway, going back to my new year's day celebration.
Stayed there stoning and talking about God, life, philosophical stuff (which I love being engaged in)until my bladder could not hold it any longer.

I think we left the place at 3-4 am.
Vivo City was still scattered with people.
So yeah.
That's how I spent my first day in 2007.

My fav were the bumpcars though.

A nice sofa to lounge about in, 2 toilets with many interconnecting doors,
a bathtub, a shower, a wardrobe, an iron, a dressing table, a dining table etc...
Lol. Pretty sweet for a regular suite.

Hmm YEAH.
And there was an indoor themepark there too.
So I went for a coupla more exciting rides :P
Totally wanted to puke when I got off the rollercoaster.
I couldn't even count the number of times I was rolling upside down.

But it was nice all the same :P

I know!! This is my 3rd entry in 2 weeks!!! Record breaking huh!

Hmmm.. had my psychology and World Issues tutorials today.
GAH!! everybody hates thursdays.
It's the nobody-loves-me-i'm-gonna-eat-worms kinda day in TP. Haha.. well at least for some of the people in my class.
It's the nobody-loves-me-i'm-gonna-eat-worms day cos we're separated from our classmates or even course mates. Gah! I hate feeling introvert.

But psych tutorials today was slightly better. Partly cos there's this guy, oh my, I don't freaking know his name!!! I SUCK!! I MUST BE BURNT IN HELL. yeah.. so anyway, there's this guy who made me feel at ease during psych tutorials. The 2 smokers who were in my group went out to smoke and he was like "Lyndel! make sure you cover your nose when they come back". Cos last week we were having group discussion and these 2 guys totally smelled "smoky".

Got the chance to interact with the people in my group. There's this 21 years old guys who was from express and drop till he went to ITE. Worked hard enough to get into Culinary and Catering Management (CCM) . He's got tattoos all over his arms and chest mind you.

Oh and about my world issues tutorials, we were analysing the Cause Effects Solutions Challenges (CESC) on Iraqi insurgency and I realise that it's intimidating working with all girls. Especially knowledgeable girls. My....I think CDS is so problematic.

Tuesday was my 2nd time to do my Changi Youth Ambassador (CYA) duty. My!! It was so much fun.
First person I helped was this burmese woman whose baggage was left behind in the taxi.
2nd encounter, my.. super cute encounter sia.. There was this japanese man who was in transit for 4 hours, but then i think he totally forgot about the time cos he came over to the Info counter asking where was his gate which was E3 20 minutes before his plane was scheduled for flight.
HAHA... and before we got into the immigration, he got lost. so I had to ran outside to the public area to find him. Wasted about 3 min and finally we found him. Wah WE RAN LIKE SIAO ALL THE WAY TO GATE E3 sia! If you happen to be in T2 transit mall near the immigration and saw 3 siao people running madly that would be us. GAWD!! And the security guards were laughing at us lah. Heck!
3rd encounter: A brazilian couple from Australia on budget holiday. they were so cute lah. Me and 2 other CYAs escorted them to the MRT station. Too lazy to type out the whole detail.

Projects are piling up on me!
And this is only the first week mind you!

Heck, first ever lesson which is communication skills 2(CS2), the tutor already dumped all the excrement on us. And even before you can say, "I'll be in that group" you're already snatched by another group.
Gosh!
But my Cross Disciplinary Studies (CDS) tutorials were interesting and fun. Psychology(Psych) and World Issues.
Man! World Issues is swell. First tutorials was ridiculous.
I arrived in the classroom on time but the tutor made us wait so that she could go down get drink.
She came back 15 minutes later with a cup of chocolate drink in her hand.
She's so funky lah. Reminds of Ms Yvonne Ong. Tutors are supposed to come in smart casual wear rite, but she was so casual lah. Bright pink sleeveless top with some birds and flower motif on it, her pink bra straps were also visible.Hair untidily tied up in an unsuccessful bun and she wore a black thick framed spectacles.She wore a black pair of pants and the entire combination looked as if she had just come back from a yoga session.

First thing we did was to play TABOO with world issues words.
Cool. Some of the words were; 'Al Qaeda', 'Jihad, 'United Nations', 'UNESCO'. hahahahahahahaha. Imagine describing those TABOO style.
I want to take ARTS APPRECIATION next year!!! Darn it! should have just place it as my 2nd CDS choice. I heard it's so much fun.

This week totally sucks.
Lets see. Monday I reach home at 5+ almost 6. (Normal school day)
Tuesday I reach home at 7.45. (Chem extra lesson)
Today I reached home at 7.30. (Soccer match coverage)
Tomorrow I'll reach home at 11-12. (Xinmin Story)
And on friday guess what?
I HAVE A HUGE FREAKING ECONS TEST WORTH 12.5% OF MY PROMOTIONAL GRADES.
YAY-FREAKING-YAY.
Oh and did I mention? I'VE GOT A GP TEST TML TOO.
And PW, History project, CCA, Econs essay and CHEM tutorial to do.
Wow.
And one last thing.
I have a History and Chemistry test on Monday too.
